TrafficLIVE deployed in Singapore using ITIS TrafficScience™ Cellular Floating Vehicle Data (CFVD) Technology

ITIS Holdings plc (ITIS) is pleased to announce, together with its local partner Quantum Inventions (QI) and cellular operator SingTel, the commercial launch of TrafficLIVE, Asia’s first intelligent and reliable traffic planning guide covering over 2,500 km of roadway.

Using ITIS TrafficScience™ CFVD technology, QI and SingTel are generating traffic information by processing signaling information from mobile handsets of SingTel’s mobile base and additional traffic information from the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) through the Traffic Information Platform (TRIP) co-developed by LTA and QI. The innovative ITIS TrafficScience technology correlates and evaluates traffic movements of mobile customers and LTA traffic flow and ensures that all details of customers’ locations remain anonymous to protect their privacy.

TrafficLIVE will provide the first nationwide feed of high quality traffic flow data in Singapore and will be used to provide high quality real-time, historic and predictive traffic information to the Automotive, Mobile and Government markets.
