In February 2003 Land Rover selected NavTrak as the only approved vehicle-tracking system for installation on the new Range Rover. Land Rover then extended the contract to the Discovery II and Freelander '03 and '04 model year ranges.
| The NavTrak system uses the latest technology in vehicle tracking and offers
features including full European coverage and includes the market leading
Automatic Driver Recognition system (ADR).Over 30,000 Discovery and Freelander
vehicles and over 5,000 units of the award winning new Range Rover were sold in
the UK in 2002. NavTrak anticipate a high penetration for NavTrak on future
vehicle sales given the insurance group rating of the car. |
