Mini
In November 2004 Mini became the 13th vehicle manufacturer to be supplied with ITIS traffic data through its RDS-TMC service.
| ITIS announced that Mini would be standardising RDS-TMC service in all factory installed satellite navigation systems from the first quarter of 2005. This contract forms part of the overall contract agreed between ITIS and the BMW group on 16th September 2003. |

Paul Osmond, Product and Planning Manager for Mini said:
"We are delighted to be able to offer RDS-TMC as standard on our satellite navigation system. Mini drivers will now be able to make journeys with the knowledge that they will be kept up to date about traffic congestion and will be able to request that the navigation system re-routes them if necessary. Our decision to standardise RDS-TMC was influenced after extensive testing and by the consistent high quality of ITIS traffic data experienced by BMW."
