Porsche
In November 2004 ITIS agreed a new contract with Porsche Cars Great Britain Ltd to supply its RDS-TMC (Radio Data System - Traffic Message Channel) as standard across all models fitted with factory installed satellite navigation.
| The Porsche Cars model range which will feature RDS-TMC includes the 911,
Boxster and Cayenne. ITIS traffic information combines journalistic and Floating
Vehicle Data (FVD), which is then broadcast using national bandwidth via Classic
FM, which is licenced exclusively by the Radio Authority to ITIS until 2012. |
